I have two users with a similar name/email (differentiated by adding1 to user 2s email/username) I have edited user 1 with the email address of user 2 and subsequently linked all pages and kbs created by user 1 to user 2. Both users are active in Atlassian Jira and Confluence, so I can't delete user 2 (newest user without much data created) and reinvite them. What is the most efficient way to unlink user 2 from user 1s data/pages etc.
@Natasha if both users share the same email address there is no way to merge the accounts in cloud yet. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-240 if the users are separate accounts there is not a way to migrate data. For jira issues you could do a bulk update to reassign issue or add / remove a user as a watcher.
