Page Property Report - display last modified date?

I have created pages using the Page Properties macro throughout my site for my teams to enter their status.  I use a Page Property Report to summarize all of the inputs automatically but I would like to be able to bring back the date of last update for each individual page.  Is there a field that I could reference to bring this back as code?

Hello, Scott,

Firstly, welcome to Atlassian Community! It's nice to have you join us.

Regarding the last modified field, it's not possible at the moment to display that in the Page Properties Report. This has been logged as a feature request in the past, and it seems to be a very popular request:

  • CONFCLOUD-29153 Extend Page Properties Report Macro to support displaying 'Creator' and 'Modified' properties

Unfortunately, the workaround to create a User Macro had been included from the Server request, and does not apply to Cloud. It's not possible to create User Macros in Cloud.

In the meantime, the information you need is in the Content Report Table macro. if you want to display it on the page, you'll need to use that macro. My apologies that there is not a better solution at this time.

Let me know if you have any further questions about this, and I'll be happy to assist.

Regards,

Shannon

I simply added a field in the page properties table with the /contributor macro.

This includes names of contributors, but can be modified to include the date, and can even include child pages/hierarchy modifications.

Select the "contributors" macro, click edit.  I prefer the "inline" format, and there's a checkbox to "Show last contribution time", and you can select the count limit at 1 to just show last update (and by whom).

Thx this is it!

Thanks much Lisa, this is been helpful. This made a lot of confluence users very happy.

Is it possible to select absolute day/time (3/3/2022) rather than the "friendly time" ("5 minutes ago")?

I also need the absolute day time, because "453 days ago" is not useful at all ..

Hi there,

Once you're using the Page properties report macro to track statuses, Handy Macros for Confluence might speed you up. It has Handy Date and Handy Status macros that allow updates without editing the page. Change dates and statuses in the page view mode.
