Missing links to pages after Space Export to PDF

Ramya Javaregowda October 17, 2023

Hi,

I exported one of my spaces through PDF, and from the main page tree, a few of the page links are missing. However, the pages are there in the PDF. Just the links from the main page tree at the top of the document are missing, which requires me to share a non-editable file with my team.

Can someone please assist me on a possible solution to this?

Hi Ramya, I think I found your issue on Atlassian's Jira site.  If this is your issue, please vote for and watch it. CONFSERVER-23324

Hi @Dan Breyen , thank you for responding.

I went through the link shared on Jira, but I think my issue is a little different. I use Confluence version 7.19. I will break my issue further here -

I need to export one of the spaces to PDF to share with the rest of my team, and there are around 81 pages in this space. When I did export the space to PDF, 3 pages weren't linked from the main menu in PDF (on both browser and application). The pages are present in the document, but the links are missing. Also, the page numbers for these 3 pages aren't displayed in the main Table of Contents. I cross-verified if there were any anchor links added on these pages and found none. There are links to other pages in the same space, but I doubt that would be causing the issue.

I also checked with the other spaces; none had any issues with the export, and all pages were linked properly. So I'm unsure how to resolve this, and I'm on a tight timeline to share this with my team.

As this is urgent for you, you may want to contact Support and get their feedback. (support.atlassian.com/contact).

Or you could search Atlassian's Jira site (jira.atlassian.com) for any other possible issues.
