Migration and upgrade

We are currently on the Confluence trial database. We are needing to Migrate it to our SQL server and then perform updates. Is anyone out there familiar with a service that can perform this for us?

I know database migrations can often sound complex, mostly because they are.  But, while I have problems with medium or large Atlassian systems migrations, "trial to proper database" is usually handled very easily by the stuff Atlassian have built in already - it is usually very easy for a small dataset that hasn't been heavily customised.

Short version:

• Get empty database in SQL server
• Export trial to xml
• Stop Confluence
• Edit the confluence.cfg.xml in <confluence home> to point at the empty database
• Start Confluence
• It should ask you if you have some xml you'd like to import - feed it the export file
• Give it a bit of time to import, and then start using it as before
