Make my teammates watch all pages related to my team

our user has requested the feature below

As a team manager, I would like to be able to make my teammates watch all pages related to my team and get email notifications to changes/discussions on those pages.

a few nuances to this request:

• all pages related to my team may be within my space, or outside my space
• my team is not so small and is growing (adding/removing watcher to my knowledge is by individual user level instead of group)

does anyone know any solutions to this?

Ah, you mean auto-assign them as watchers to a certain set of pages? I read this three times, thinking about how to politely tell you to point your manager to management classes.

There are several ways to achieve this.  One would be to use automation.  You could create a group for his team, if one doesn't already exist, have automation look at this group and add these users as watchers to each of the pages.

You could also script this via the API with the same steps, but you'd run this from outside Confluence.
