We currently use a AD group in COnfluence.
We wanted to migrate users to a new AD group, as part of cleanup and streamlining the approach.
We have a access management system through which users are getting added to group.
Once added via OKTA login will happen. We are using Delegated authentication with native SSO by atlassian. Kindly help how to migrate users and what will be the impacts?
We need to migrate the users to new group , then update the group name in Access management System, Confluence user directory. But when we migrate and test , the current group permissions are not reflected in the Confluence which will be a high impact. So we decided to rename and check ? But not sure of the roll back method if renamed and we get any issues after that renaming . We have a system of 2500 users. Kindly help.
