Hello.
We have Confluence Cloud instance connected via Application Link with Jira Software on-prem.
Now we are testing migration from Jira on-prem to Jira cloud. Jira on-prem will be de-promoted after successful migration and we want all existing Jira macros in Confluence pages connected to newly migrated Jira Cloud. I know that there is functionality (Jira Macro Repair) that allows us repair Jira macros and make them connect to automatically created System Jira Applink.
The thing is that Jira Macro Repair does not do anything even though it is reported that all link were fixed. All link remains broken with this error
Error rendering macro 'jira' : Unable to locate Jira server for this macro. It may be due to Application Link configuration.
or for filters applied
Unable to locate Jira server for this macro. It may be due to Application Link configuration.
Important points:
- Confluence spaces were not migrated. Only Jira
- Jira Macro Repair does detect that there are broken links after we shut down on-prem Applink
Is there any way to repair those macros? Thank you.
It looks like you are facing an issue similar to Jira Macro Repair needs to be run multiple times after a migration
Best would be to create a support request for this by using the below link so that a Migration engineer can investigate this issue and assist you:
Running multiple times does not help. And there is no error presented.
I guess I'll write to support, thank you
