Is there a way to know which add-on is actively used in Confluence

Ismail Sanni May 6, 2024

Hi Guys,

Is there a way I can check which application (3rd party add-ons) is used frequently on confluence and how often it is being used.

Thanks

Hi @Ismail Sanni

Apps come in multiple guises (in terms of how they work, where and what data they store) so it might be hard to find a common solution.

There are apps that, by definition, are used on any page as they're applied to the whole space. There might be apps that you can apply to a section of the space. Some works on an individual page level.

All space apps typically come with their own management tools.

There's probably a way to get the data via API.

Having said that, there are apps that dig deeper into Confluence data and can display various useful bits of information.

Your mileage may vary but generally speaking, look for apps that offer page management capabilities, admin tools, logs etc.
