Is it possible to import useraccounts on bulk from CSV file into CONFLUENCE?

Sandra Meessen October 4, 2018

Hello, is it possible in CONFLUENCE (not Jira) to import user accounts froma CSV file? How do I do that? Is it enough to have columns for username, fullname, emailaddress and initial password? Or do I need more details in the CSV file?

Thank you.

Hi Sandra,

Using Confluence command line CLI, you can import bulk user accounts to the confluence.

Minimum columns required in the CSV file are userId, userFullName, userEmail, and userPassword.

CLI command will look like this "--action runFromCsv --common "--action addUser" --file "<filename with location>.csv" --continue"

For more information on confluence commandline cli please refer to the below link

Thanks,

Santwana
