Hi, I have developed a space, using a page template, consisting of many child pages from various parent pages. The space is for a particular project team to use, and is set up to reflect their processes.
My question is: is there a way I can replicate that entire space set up and apply it to another 9 spaces (for nine other project teams)? If so, what is the best way to do so? (I am aware that I could do this by copying code across, individually for each page, from the original space, but this is obviously long and drawn out when you're dong it for multiple spaces.)
Thanks,
Tim
Use Copy Space - have used it 100s of time and never a fail. https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/212
Each space needs its own Space Key of course.
Thanks Ellen, looks perfect. Only drawback is it seems to only apply to Confluence 4.0 and 4.0.1. I'm using 3.5.7 - have you found otherwise?

Tim, you can download a version of the plugin that matches your version of Confluence.
Just go to https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/212 and click on "Compatibility with Confluence"
Cheers,
Mark

If your only need to copy portions of a space or to update pages from another space, Confluence Command Line Interface has actions for copyPage and copyPageChildren to copy page hierarchies with options to copy attachments, labels, or comments.

In this case we have successfully used the Copy Page Tree plugin, see https://marketplace.atlassian.com/22929

Hi Tim,
Our Add-on Space Tree Creator can copy spaces and works with the newest versions of Confluence.
Marketplace link: Space Tree Creator.

We are using the Copy Space Plugin as well, but have issues on 3.5.4 with backslashes in paths in code fragments getting removed, screwing up the path.
In the case of copying only parts of a space we have successfully used the Copy Page Tree plugin, see https://marketplace.atlassian.com/22929

There is not a simple guaranteed solution to "clone" a space. See this page ( https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/6524/cloning-a-space-key-conflict-upon-restore ) for discussion.
