Is Database view a good option to create data dictionary for a software application?

I need to create a data dictionary containing tables and schema details for our software application. Can the Database feature be used for this? Or is there any other feature of Confluence Cloud more suited for this purpose?

Is this for documentation purposes? If so yes a database would make sense.  Is this something your application would be dynamically accessing? Then no, I would not use Confluence.
