Hi
I am trying to import a Word document to an existing Confluence page. I have no problems importing to a new page *upon creation.
*I also have a problem with importing word after it has been created - i guess this is classes as "existing" though, so is the same problem!
The guidance link below says to go to an existing page (NOT edit) and choose "More options>Import Word Document", however on view i cannot see "More options"... I can see "Advanced details" and there is no option to import from there.
Import a Word Document into Confluence | Confluence Data Center 9.2 | Atlassian Documentation
Thanks
Hi @Chris X welcome to the community. I found CONFCLOUD-75154 out on Atlassian's Jira site which sounds a lot like your issue. Importing Word docs to existing Confluence pages isn't available yet.
If you'd agree that this is your issue, I would strongly suggest voting for and watching it for future updates.
Feel free to add a comment on it as well.
Hope that helps.
Thanks @Dan Breyen I agree this is my issue. I have voted.
The page in my OP then needs updating as it says this IS possible for existing pages and is very misleading. Can you arrange for that to be amended, or is there someone to report this to?
Thankyou

Sorry, Chris, I'm not familiar with the 'OP' terminology. The link you provided refers to the Data Center product. From your labels, you've indicated you're using the cloud software. My answer was derived from the labels, are you using the Confluence Cloud software?

@Dan Breyen Is this a different solution then? Is it possible to import to existing page on Cloud? Thanks

If you're using the Cloud Software, then that Jira ticket would still apply.

OK Thank you @Dan Breyen - who can be contacted to update the misleading content?
Thanks

If you're the System Admin you can open a ticket with Atlassian Support to address that.
