Images on Confluence pages do not load. The links are either broken (they fix temporarily then break again) or the image is eternally loading (they cannot be downloaded either, despite pressing the download button). I have two work arounds at the moment:
1. Turn Wi-Fi off on my laptop then turn it back on - the images then load normally but only for about 20 minutes, after which they break again.
2. View previous versions of pages - those images load perfectly fine.
I have seen many other posts discussing this and none of the suggestions I've seen so far work (clearing the cache and cookies, checking the images are actually there, trying a different browser etc). In the past, simply refreshing the page used to work but that no longer does either.
Since there are two workarounds here, maybe someone can figure out what is going on?
@Bhavan Chahal Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
There was an incident today affecting attachments that has been resolved, so hopefully you are no longer experiencing this issue.
You can find information and subscribe to email updates on the Confluence Status page.
Unfortunately, this has not helped. The attachments are no longer broken but the images are still eternally loading. I also cannot download the image, despite pressing the download button many times. (I will add this last part to the main problem).

Advice often mentioned here in community includes clearing your cache, trying incognito mode, and trying a different browser.

As mentioned in my original question, currently advised solutions do not work. That page you linked also doesn't help because it's for browser issues, but this issue occurs with all browsers I try Confluence on, including Safari, which has no problems reported.
