I created a new label and added it to a page. When I search for the label, I get "No Content".

The label was created yesterday, and 18 hours later, I cannot find the label if I use search by label or Content Table Report. I work for a very large company is this normal for the label to not populate?

Update to my question with my own answer. My new label took 2 days to populate into the system - that was my problem. I had a test page that I kept checking and the label is finally working. So, if you work for a large company, with thousands of users and run into this problem with labels, it may be exactly what happened to me - takes time for a new label to populate into the system and work ;)

@Marion Cushing Smith I found this today.  CONFSERVER-92303

It's probably related to your issue and would be worth voting for and watching.

@Marion Cushing Smith , hello

You listed your hosting type as cloud but your screenshots look like a server/dc environment.

It's been a while since I last worked in server/dc Confluence, so I may be wrong here, but dashes/hyphens were not supported in labels.

Try this:

  1. Creating new labels directly on that page
    • outbound_team
    • outboundteam
  2. Try searching for them using the methods that you described

This would, at least, eliminate hyphenation as the culprit.

Hi @Marion Cushing Smith welcome to the community.  I just added a label to an article, then went to the advanced search and searched for all articles with that label and it worked.

I also searched for all articles with that label, and that worked as well.

Is it possible this is after a recent migration? I found CONFCLOUD-76466,

There are some other issues that are similar, but my quick search didn't find anything else.

Have you tried readding that label?  I'm wondering if there is a step that was done that causes it not to save.

Hope that helps.

No there has not been a recent migration. Our Confluence is really large, is it maybe that it takes longer to populate a new label? This is the label at the bottom of a page: Screenshot 2024-02-29 110415.png

And when I do this, "No Content" whether I put in Space Key or not
