I am not able to use admin key to open restricted page.

Hi team, 

I am an organization admin and the site admin for the spaces in our Confluence Cloud environment. However, I cannot use the admin key to bypass page restrictions. We are currently using the standard version of Confluence.

Is there a way for me to access these restricted pages?

Hi @Brynja Davíðsdóttir

In Confluence Cloud’s standard plan, organization or site admins can’t bypass page restrictions with an admin key. ( you can find more here)

To access restricted pages, you can:

• Request Access: Ask the page owner or someone with edit rights to grant you access.
• Adjust Space Permissions: As a Space Admin, you can check and modify space permissions for future access but can’t override current page restrictions. (More details here)

@Brynja Davíðsdóttir Also keep in mind that there are valid reasons why the page owners might not want you to have access to the page—for example, maybe it contains financial information or HR records that you should not be privy to.
