How to preserve comments in a document at update

Edvard Englund April 10, 2020

1. I publish a document in Confluence

2. People write comments in it

3. Now, I want to update the document, and then press publish another time

4. The comments made on un-altered sections are gone

Is it a way to prevent this?

Hi @Edvard Englund

I've tried what you are stating on your question, but my comments stay exactly were I've placed them.

  • I made a few inline comments on a page.
  • I edit the page and  update some text, but NOT that of the comment (you said about comments on unaltered section)
  • I pressed closed (but I have also pressed publish) but the comments stayed exactly the same.

Can you be a little bit more precise?
