For example. To view the pages or spaces for all users should be prompted for a password.

Not exactly sure what you mean but this seems to be a permission issue. You can set groups for different spaces and they will need to log in to view them. If you want spaces that are open to everyone, including the general public, then enable them for anonymous use. This way you have spaces anyone can see but for other spaces then people need to log in to view them. Of course that is assuming they have usernames in the system.
