"Scriptrunner" and "Content formatting macros" are 2 custom apps that use the system.admin web section on Confluence. They have multiple items inside them just like the native items like "Configuration" and "Security".
For some reason, whenever I click on a left menu item inside one of my custom apps, the menu doesn't expand by default. It just stays closed and I am forced to click to open it. However, if I do the same for one of the native items, the menu stays open.
Is there anything I can do to ensure the menu always stays open for custom apps?
Even in general, I can't seem to narrow down any reproducible behaviour for this menu. When I reload the page, the menu state doesn't persist. It goes back to a seemingly random state.
Hi Jaimash,
I believe this feature is controlled by Atlassian, meaning app menus for all apps don't say expanded when a menu item is clicked.
I would suggest raising this as a feature request with Atlassian to see if they change this behaviour for apps.
Regards,
Kristian
