How to change the target for opening space shortcut links

Is it possible to change the 'Space shortcuts' side bar links target?

 

I would like to open the links in the same window and some in new tabs.

Hi Adam,

If you want to open a space shortcut in a new tab, use the tiny URL of the respective page as Web Address while adding your space shortcut. This should do the trick.

Web addresses do not open in a new tab for me. Am I missing something?
