How to automatically send email, once changes made in confluence

Mimi Hanim August 14, 2019

I want everytime there is someone make changes on the page, there will be an email sent saying that changes has been made even a single dot or coma made on the page. I have tried this link's (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/email-notifications-145162.html) method but it seems not working as I wanted. It only notify users who are following the person who did changes on the page, and only notify through confluence only but not through email.

Hi @Mimi Hanim,

I'm not sure if I understood what you tried already. Are you watching the page you're interested in? If you watch a page, you get notified of all the changes of the page. The type of the notification depends on the user settings you linked.

And just to be sure about the emails: Did you configure a mail server in your confluence? If not, here are the instructions to do so.

Does that help?

Cheers,
Matthias.
