How to add image/menu icon next to text

I am working in new editor and not able to place a icon next to text. But when I add an image text is going to next line. I want it to look like this.

Thanks. This is the only option I could find. I'll try using custom emoji and see how it works.

And could you tell me, If I delete custom emoji does it get deleted from pages where it is used?
