×Hi,
Is there a way I can keep a Confluence Cloud instance automatically synched with an on-premise Confluence datacentre instance ? The Cloud instance is the Master where the authors create the content. The consumers of the content have an on-premise instance of Confluence which we need to keep synchronised with the Cloud-master. (the option of the Consumers having access to the Cloud instance is not possible / acceptable to the business).
An idea I've been considering is using a database replication tool to replicate the Cloud Master to the On-premise instance; is this possible ? I'm trying to eliminate manual processes wherever possible.
Are there alternative options / tools that I might use to achieve the same result ?
Many thanks !
Hi @jim.hunt
Automatically synchronizing content from Confluence Cloud to Confluence Data Center involves complexities that go beyond simple database replication. The direct approach you mentioned, using a database replication tool, is not recommended due to the significant differences in the architecture and data handling between Confluence Cloud and Data Center. You can consider explore third-party tools or Atlassian Marketplace apps that might offer synchronization capabilities.
I hope this will help.
Thanks for taking the time to reply and the links to further information. Much appreciated !
