Why can we not add guests to a document? The option is there but the "Add" button is greyed out, even when you input the email address. Is this feature broken?
Hi @Alice Park
Are you the admin of the instance? Only organization or site admins can invite guests to Confluence following these steps (you can read more on the Support Documentation portal)
Go to admin.atlassian.com. If you have more than one organization, select the one you want.
Select Directory > Users.
Select Invite users.
Add the email addresses of the guests you want to invite. (You can invite up to 10 guests at time.)
Open the product role dropdown for Confluence.
Unselect the User role.
If you don’t unselect this, the user will be considered a regular paid user.
Select the Guest role.
Make sure to select the correct role for all other products. (Guests are only available in Confluence.)
If in doubt, skip the Group membership field. It’s not required.
(Optional) Personalize the email invite that the guests will receive.
Select Invite users.
Hi Teodora! Appreciate the help/steps but still no luck. I own the space I'm trying to send, and also asked the company admin to try but he was also unable to. Any other tips?
