We are currently hosting Confluence 6.4.2 and we are using it as a tool for external documentation for our customers. There is no need to sign in or anything like that.
We have noticed that the website does not ask the user to accept the cookies used on the website, before actually using them. Is there a way to easily enable this prompt? Perhaps by upgrading to the latest confluence version? If no, how would you recommend we proceed with this issue?
Hi Anton,
The latest Confluence, version 6.8.2, does not include a prompt asking for permission to use cookies. There is a GDPR compliance plugin for Confluence that looks worth a trial: GDPR Compliance Assistant for Confluence
A similar product has been written for Jira: GDPR Compliance Assistant for Jira
Thanks,
Ann
