Hi

We are on confluence 4.3

I’d like to know if it is possible to create a “bulletin board / community forum” (i.e. with list of topics, people can post questions/answer on a specific topic or create a new topic) on the Confluence 4.3?

I am aware that confluence questions plugin can achieve this; but i am trying to see if there is any out of box solution for this. Or with help of any other free plugin?

Rahul

Hello Rahul, the options lie either with a free component - http://www.osqa.net/- the engine for this very site or with a paid solution as Nic mentioned.

There will be a shared migration process from one to another to be published once Atlassian Answers is migrated, you can use that one and than transition to Questions when you feel it is time.

Just note that the migration is customized to work for this config, and may need adjustments to fit your environment.

There is no off-the-shelf solution to this . That's why you see addons like Questions, Community Bubbles and Community Forums.
