As per https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/27543/how-do-i-remove-the-thumbnail-image-of-the-user-from-blog-posts-and-comments, in our (and we suspect), many environments we don't want pictures/thumbnails of People on any Confluence pages.
There should be an Admin UI switch to suppress them, rather than convoluted and version-specific jQuery and CSS to get rid of them.
PS: is there somewhere else I should raise a Feature request? This website tells you to use Create Issue but I can't find any way to categorise as a Feature request rather than some sort of Issue.
Hi Peter,
Feature requests are handled through issues at http://jira.atlassian.com. Just raise a new issue as "feature request" in the issue type, and place a good summary and description. You may also want to have a look at the Atlassian Implementation of New Features Policy.
Hope it helps.
Peter, just found an Improvement Request that may be what you need. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-21962
If that's what you're looking for, make sure you vote for it, to increase its visibility, and add yourself as a watcher to keep track of the process.
Cheers!

Many thanks - that's just what I wanted. Have voted there.
Sadly Atlassian didn't find that either and have also raised https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-27553 on my behalf. I'll cross-link that to 21962 to try and reduce duplication!
