Export to static HTML or to Help (similar to WebHelp)

Rakefet Zur October 13, 2014

Hi,

We are evaluating Confluence. We need to generate help for applications from Confluence. It can be static html pages but they must have a TOC and breadcrumbs.

The built-in export to HTML provides standalone html files with no TOC. We are also testing scroll html export but are having difficulties there as well.

Are there any other plugins or options to generate some sort of html help from Confluence?

(If the option is to export to Word and then use RoboHelp - we won't move to Confluence...).

Thanks,

Rakefet

Hi,

while this answer is a bit late, I'd like to refer you to the new version 3.3 of Scroll HTML Exporter that provides HTML exports with TOC and full text search feature.

See https://www.k15t.com/display/HTML/Scroll+HTML+Exporter+3.3+Release+Notes

Cheers,
