Expandable sections are unrolled after sharing the page via Mail

Hello,

I have a confluence page with some expandable macros. I wanted to share the page via mail. When I do that, all my expandable sections are unrolled. Is there a way to display these expandable macros in mail so that recipients can show/hide text based on their use?

I'm not familiar with the mail functionality in Confluence you're referring to that will include page content (including expand macros) in the message. What steps you are taking to mail the page?
