My users would like to embed some confluence pages into others. When they do this, it doesn't show a preview or any presentation of the confluence page. Rather, it shows a prompt to log in (which loops).

The question is:
Why are confluence embedded pages prompting for login when the user is (of course) already logged in? Can we fix this?

Hi @Shaun Delorez and welcome to the Community.

The viewer of a Confluence page with 'embedded' (reused, included, excerpted) page must have at least viewing rights to the embedded content.

If the embedded page has restrictions or is from a space the viewer doesn't have permissions for, they won't be able to see that content.
