E-Mail notification for everyone after a guest invite in Confluence Space

Hi,

I have invited two guests using the guest invitation for a Confluence Space. Afterwards everyone in my organisation with the group Confluence got a notification.

How do I turn this off, so they dont see a E-Mail notification?

They have all access to all spaces, but only work in their certain spaces. Do I need to limit everyones access?

This seems like a global setting- is there a way to turn this off for everyone by default?

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

The reason why everyone is receiving this is the default settings for email notifications in Confluence. To change this, click on your avatar, then Settings.

Then you will see this:

Now are those users the space admins, if yes, they all will get the notifications when the guest joins the space.

I hope that this screenshot will determine which options you need and which you don't.

This setting screen isn't available for me on the avatar -> settings option. Can you clarify?

The menu Nikola referred to in their screen shot is from 'Personal settings'.

That is the link you want to choose.
