Creating 12 Month Calendar View based on Page Properties

Lori Meyer September 13, 2024

I created a project template page for my team with specific attributes that are used in page properties and a page-properties report.

I would like to use similar macro - if it exists - to automatically pull page properties data into a 12-month calendar view.  Example:

Project page contains page properties as below:

Project Objective IndicatorProject Short NameKey DeliverableKey Deliverable Date
.jpg Operational ResilienceProduct DashboardRDL Data ViewJanuary, 2024

Looking for a macro/function that can automatically pull the indicator, project short name and key deliverable into the respective deliverable month in the summary 12-month calendar view.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Lori Meyer ,

We can suggest trying the app that we develop - Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence.

Our macros support macro generated tables (for example, Page Properties Report, Jira Issues, etc.), so, you'll be able to wrap your Page Properties Report macro in the Pivot Table macro and aggregate your data by months.

Thanks for the fast response!

So to confirm - if I have an existing Page Properties Report with the relevant Page Properties from the child pages, I just insert the Pivot Table macro in front of Page Properties Report to do the aggregation by months?

I'll start playing around with this in the interim -and thank you so much for the suggestion!

Yes, you are right: you place your Page Properties Report macro inside the Pivot Table macro, set the corresponding date format inside the Pivot Table macro settings (for such dates as "January, 2024" it will be "MM, yy", you just type it manually in the corresponding field) and choose to aggregate your data by month.

The same result can be also achieved using the Table Transformer macro. It uses SQL language, so if you prefer to use it, you may try this macro as well.
