Copying/Template Space

I've been creating and customizing a space with pages, and the look and feel for our project that we now want to use as a template.

How would I use this space as the template for other projects?

Also, how would I go about creating these spaces based on a JSM issue type upon being created?

Thoughts?

Hey @Joshua Dumas ! I am a new product lead at confluence. I am really curious about your post here. I'd like to explore the idea of Space templates more with you. If you're interested, I'd love to gather your feedback regarding how you are currently building your own "space templates," and the workflow that you'd like to see!

Hi @Joshua Dumas ,

you can create a space template from scratch using the following approach https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-template/

If you want to use an existing space as template and create a new one starting from that space you can evaluate the following app https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212099/copy-space-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Hope this helps,

Fabio
