Content Report Assigned to Current User

Alexi Vanderstraeten April 19, 2021

Hello,

Is there a way to set the macro Content Report to display the current user?

Meaning that I would use it to display only the tasks assigned to the one who see the macro.

That would be super helpful.

Cheers.

Hi @Alexi Vanderstraeten ,

You may use the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app to filter you Content Report Table macro - just wrap the macro into the Table Filter macro and filter the Creator column by the @currentUser:

If you want to filter the Task Report macro (you've mentioned tasks in the second part of your question), it has a limitation for the Server/DC version due to the built-in macro pagination (see this question for the details). We've added your vote for the ticket in our backlog.

I actually would like to filter the Task Report macro records for the current user on DC (version 7.19). Has that issue been resolved? I have wrapped the Task Report (for completed tasks) in a Table Filter macro and attempted several SQL functions, to no end.

Hi @Kim Trask ,

Not sure what issue we are talking about, the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app always supports three Confluence hostings: Cloud, Data Center and Server.

Also you are not supposed to use any SQL functions within the Table Filter macro to filter your report by assignees: just wrap your Task Report macro in the Table Filter macro and set a dropdown filter for the 'Assignee' column.

Hope it helps your case.

This was resolved as best it could be on a different thread using @currentUser to filter the entire table of issues instead of only a column. Still not optimal, but it works given our use-case.
