Confluence @mentions to yourself not working

@mentions works for everyone but doesn't when I am using my own name. I don't receive an email when I am using myself with @Mentions. Can anyone help me if this is possible with Confluense? For the right information, this function is working well in Jira.

I am wondering (so may not be the definitive answer) if this is associated with your Watch email settings and the option for "Notify me of my own actions" .. so if you do need it, try turning that setting on and see what happens

Why would you want to receive an email if you already mention yourself?

You know what you wrote, at least i hope
