Confluence hung when upgrading from Team Calendars 4.2.4 to 5.2.10

Madhav Kompella April 17, 2015

We have an enterprise-level installation of Confluence, and we are trying to upgrade the Team Calendars plugin on this Confluence installation from version 4.2.4 to 5.2.10. The upgrade though is just hanging, and not proceeding to completion as quickly as plugin uploads usually do. Some other symptoms that we are noticing:

  1. We have 2 Confluence servers in a clustered set-up, the server on which the plugin upload is started immediately started showing "calendar3.link" (or something similar) on the main Confluence page. The other server doesn't show this link though
  2. Pages that do have a Calendar show all "unresolved" CSS "text" similar to the issue reported in (1), and seem to remain that way even 20 minutes after the plugin upload was started

Any advise on why this might be happening, and what we could do to alleviate this? We would like to take advantage of the custom event types available in Team Calendars 5.

Hey Madhav,

This kind of issue we would need to check the logs to further understand what is happening, do you mind raising a support ticket at https://support.atlassian..com so we can further check what is going on?

Thanks and Regards,
