Confluence asking to reauthenticate Administrator every click

The title says it all, really.

To get to, say, User Management, I get prompted for my Administrator password. It works, and I get to 'Find User' default page. I click 'Show all users' and once again am prompted for my password. I click a name, and once again am prompted for my password...

And so it goes.

Any advice? I am self-hosted on the same network as my workstation.

Unfortunately, made no difference.

I got fed up on the weekend and uninstalled/re-installed it. So far so good-ish. From the Space Directory page I can favorite something but don't have permission to un-favorite it. From each individual space page I can do both. Frustrating but workable.

Hi Trevor,

did you try different browsers. Any special settings on cookie handling/acceptance in your browser?
