Confluence Analytics: Last version viewed is marked as "Deleted"

Heigo Ankuhin March 22, 2024

Greetings,

In Confluence (Data Center 7.19.20) Analytics I sometimes see that the "Last version viewed" for a user is marked as "Deleted".
One of the example scenarios is in the image below:

conflu_analytics_deleted.png

I would assume that means the user viewed a version that does not exist anymore, because it has been deleted.

Yet I have checked, in the current example on above picture, all 35 versions of the page do exist and there is no deleted page in the Trash section of this Space.
The most recent version of this page was published 4 years ago and it says the user viewed this deleted version just 1 day ago - so there is no reason to suspect some weird anomaly from years ago.

The above is just one example of this situation.

Has anyone else seen this type of situation? Any ideas what could cause this?

Thanks in advance,

Heigo

hello @Heigo Ankuhin ~ that is, indeed, odd.  Typically, that just indicates that the viewed version was deleted but that doesn't seem possible in your scenario.  I would reach out to Atlassian Support on this one...  Curious to know the outcome here if you don't mind posting it when you've gotten it resolved.  Good luck!
