Configure global search to display pages first

Is there a way to configure the search results to display pages first, then attachments?

You should be able to do this in search today by going to the Type filter, and selecting page. Here is a screenshot:

Does global search means quick search (the search bar on the top right) or advanced search ?

If it's quick search it's currently not possible and there is a feature request for that on Atlassian side.
