Comala no longer removing restrictions via the {remove-restriction} macro in a workflow

Kevin Kott October 28, 2024

The title says it all. Before, restrictions were set up at various points through the workflow and after being published the restrictions were successfully removed. But now, after a document has gone through the approval process, restrictions are not removed even though other actions within the trigger, like send an email, are being performed. This is 100% a bug, as even clicking on the lock at the top of the page does not allow the permissions to be removed. I have to go to space tools and remove the permissions from the restricted pages section. This can be quite tedious if you have over 100 pages with half a dozen restrictions on them, and you have to manually click every single lock just to get the permissions set back to no restrictions.

Error message when trying to remove permissions form the lock at the top of the page:
"There was an error submitting the page restrictions. Please try again later."

This is quite frustrating when handling a repository of several hundred documents with dozens of users
