Hi,
I have created a pie chart in confluence that shows the % progress from a table on the same page. I want to surface this information to a higher summary page. I can currently surface this information using a label and the Page Properties Report Macro. However, moving the chart into the table creates an error saying that the data cannot be found?
I would love a battery-style progress bar; however, I'm unsure if this is achievable.
Hi @Trish O_Connor ,
If you are open to 3rd party apps, we can suggest the app that we develop - Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence.
Besides other separate macros, it provides the Table Toolbox macro that allows you to overcome one of the Confluence Cloud limitations - macro nesting.
So, you can wrap your source table (manually created or macro generated like Jira Issues) in the Table Toolbox macro and nest macros (wrap them one into another) inside its shell.
What does it mean?
If you are not familiar with the app, please book a call with the team - we'll show everything live.
I didn't fully fix the issue but ended up using the "Issue Statics Function" to create an overview of task progress.
