Cannot Link Code

Anton Ukhanev April 16, 2020

When creating technical articles in the software development field, it is often useful to be able to link inline code. For example, if we are talking about a particular class MyClass, it is very useful to be able to link the text "MyClass", formatted  as code (monospaced) to a URL where that class can be found, such as on BitBucket or GitHub. Alas, this is not possible. Text can be either code, or a link.

This is extremely frustrating, especially given the fact that HTML and Markdown handle this no problem. There's no reason in HTML, into which Wiki syntax gets translated, to not be able to have any piece of text be a link, no matter what else it may be.

Is there some hack via which there can be done? Or at least an issue I could vote on? :D
