Can teams also be used to give access to pages?

I just saw that it is possible to create teams so that several people can be mentioned or that pages can be shared. However - if I saw correctly - it is not possible to use those teams for giving permissions to pages?

Is this planned to come in the future?

I would really appreciate this feature since I am not a site admin and do not have access to create groups.

@Barbara Acker you are correct that you are not able to use teams to provide access to pages or spaces.  Users and groups are still used to do this.  I did not see anything like this on the cloud roadmap https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/cloud I also was not able to find a product enhancement for this either.  I would suggest submitting one here:  https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=10440
