Hi! I've been building out a project management space in Confluence and have 2 different gantt charts for 2 different projects. I want to combine/merge the gantt charts into one chart so that there is an all-encompassing timeline of all the projects my team is working on.
I'm currently using Gantt Chart Planner for Confluence by Ricksoft, Inc. Other apps or code used to achieve this are welcomed as well!
Thank you!
Hi @beepadoopee ,
We can suggest trying our app that is Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence.
Our Chart from Table macro allows you to create Gantt charts as well.
So, you may create separate source tables with dates in each project space and visualize them if required. Then you may reuse these tables and merge them in one table with the help of the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros. The result table containing several projects may be also visualized.
As you are on Cloud, you'll need the Table Toolbox macro to nest several macros. Other steps seem to be pretty simple if you are familiar with the app. If no, please book a live demo with the team - we'll discuss the use case.
Hi Stiltsoft support! Thank you for replying!
This app looks amazing, but can it make Kanban boards as well? When I mark a task/key as 'DONE' or a different status can I make it notify the scrum master?

Unfortunately, no. The app is designed strictly for Confluence and its tables (native, macro generated, connected via Google Sheets, imported from Excel).
So, if to talk about Jira Issues, you'll be able to perform calculations, transformations, visualizations and so on - as a result, you'll get a kind of a live dashboard. You make changes in Jira -> they are visible in Confluence through the Jira Issues macro -> our macros "catch" the updates and show live data as well.
The app is not somehow connected to Jira and its boards.

Hi @beepadoopee ,
I'm Yasuhiro from Ricksoft.
Thank you for using our app and reaching out with this great question!
Currently, Gantt Chart Planner for Confluence does not support combining or merging multiple Gantt charts into a single, all-encompassing timeline.
However, I'm happy to share that we're currently developing a feature that may fulfill this need.
This upcoming feature will allow you to insert Gantt charts from other Confluence pages into a main Gantt chart as read-only items.
This will enable you to view multiple project timelines in one comprehensive chart.
You can follow the progress of this feature on our public Trello board here: https://trello.com/c/uGLz4jaL/45-insert-gantt-charts-on-other-page-into-wbs-as-read-only.
Thank you again for your support, and please stay tuned for updates!
