Ok, how do I get started?

Make sure to install the Confluence Cloud for Slack app, then use the /confluence notify slash command to get started! You’ll pick which sorts of events you want to hear about, and then you’ll start getting your notifications as DM’s from the Confluence app. Woohoo!

FAQ

• Is this only available on Confluence Cloud? Yes, this feature was built for the Confluence Cloud Slack app which only works with Confluence Cloud.

• Can I disable email notifications if I just want to get Slack notifications? Right now, we don’t have a way disable all Confluence email notifications. You could however use email filtering to achieve a similar result.

• How is this different from /confluence connect? Instead of having to pick certain pages / spaces to subscribe to, this feature lets you to get all notifications relevant to you (e.g. when you’re mentioned anywhere). Think of it as a replacement for email/in-product notifications.

Maybe send notifications to ZOOM as well! May be simple using the "incoming Webhook" HTTP POST facility.
