Hey everyone 👋 A huge welcome to Fabric’s Early Access Program (aka “Lighthouse Program”)!
We’ll be onboarding some of you next week and continue to onboard the rest over the following weeks.
Until then, I thought I’d share some of the recent things we’ve shipped internally/are shipping, and what’s up next.
So, without further ado, here’s four of the most exciting integrated experiences we’ve shipped recently!
Action ideas from brainstorms, retros, and more by simply creating Jira issues from your sticky notes! With the click of a button, you can create single or multiple Jira issues across your sites and projects.
We’ve heard from users about the importance of “workflow proximity”. So we’re allowing you to create Fabric whiteboards in your workflow, where and when you need them.
You’ll be able to quickly create and access your Fabric whiteboards from the Jira Software and Confluence side navigation!
Add context to your whiteboard, in a few clicks! Tailor what you’re trying to communicate with three-view states [inline, card, embed]. Smart Links offer support for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Atlas, Compass, and a tonne of non-Atlassian links too (Google Suite, YouTube, Microsoft 365, Asana, and more)!
Easily embed your ideas and work visually by adding Fabric to project posters, product roadmaps, and more in Confluence.
Vote on an idea or express yourself without words, using stamps or stickers in your whiteboarding sessions.
We’ve got a bunch of fun things we’re either about to roll out the door or kick-off work on. Check out what we’ve got in store over the coming weeks 👇
Visually connect your ideas together or create diagrams with connectors.
Create a simple diagram or structure your whiteboard with shapes.
Lock elements on your Fabric whiteboard so they can’t be accidentally moved.
So what do you think? Let us know in the comments or feel free to send me an email!
We’ve got some fun new integrations we’re testing that we’d love to get your take on. We’ll share those soon. In the meantime, you can check out the recent release notes for the things we’ve shipped to Atlassian’s using Fabric.
Can’t wait to have you all trying Fabric and helping us shape its direction soon 🚀
