Hi everyone,
I've encountered an issue in Confluence where the entries for tags in our databases are not fully displayed even though there is enough space on the screen. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, do you have any solutions or workarounds?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi @Oussama Khouri and @Lana Kelly
Thank you for reporting! The team has addressed the issue and it's waiting to be deployed to production. Be expecting the tag field text to only truncate with respect to the width of the field within the next hour or so!
Rebecca
@Oussama Khouri - based on your screenshot I'm betting there's a hard coded limit to the display length (e.g. it's cutting off at the same length for the longer ones).
May be worth adding a feature or bug request to change the length to be elastic and fit the window (v.s. an artificial cap)

We have the same problem. For the moment, we've split that into separate smaller tags. So, in your example, it would be "Control implemented" as a tag and "Implement..." as another.

We tend toward very short tag names, too - maybe that's why I haven't seen it.

I haven't encountered it in Confluence Databases yet, but Jira has a similar issue in the Filters view.
