Hi,
I know there had already been a discussion about performance of databases and it was marked as resolved but we are now having huge issues with databases to a point where we just can't work with them at all. Our databases are practically inaccessible for anyone, as soon as you move around with the mouse and want to select a cell or scroll or ove a column everything freezes. I tried to move a column "to the left" yesterday for half an hour.
On top of that I get a toast every now and then which says "Looks like you're offline. We'll sync any offline changes when you're back."
I have had the same feedback from several colleagues.
Will there be improvements to this in the near future?
Otherwise we might need to find a different solution since it is just not possible to work in databases at all.
Just FYI: the databes we have has about 200 entries and a few colums with page links and entry links.
Thank you!
Et moi aussi. :/
I'm having similar issues unfortunately where pages with embedded databases are struggling to load. Would be great to address as it makes documenting and reading documentation a lot slower.
Same here. As of yesterday I have issues while scrolling the DB where some fields remain invisible and you have to wait for the data to load…
We have similar problems - and always had.
Scrolling down a database results in not loading entries / taking more than 30 sec to load the full list.
It did work better when it was still an app and also in alpha phase.
This is the reason why we mostly ditched databases. It seems like it's just not confluences focus to fix it.
We have been experiencing this drop in performance since yesterday as well! And since we link the database in our Jira tickets, this also paralyzes our workflow in Jira. Loading the database freezes the page, and now we can't even move the tickets that include a database link...
Thank you for raising the performance issue. Would you please open a support ticket so the Databases team can take a closer look and see what the root cause is?
Thank you!
Rebecca
Hi @Rebecca Dai I don't have the System administrator global permission. Is there anywhere else i can open the ticket apart from the Troubleshooting and Support Tools?
Otherwise I need to ask our System admin to write the ticket.
Thank you!
Br,
Isabel
Unfortunately we need a support ticket filed so we can investigate your situation further. I'd suggest asking your system admin to file a support ticket.
Thank you!
Databases completely unusable since Wed/Thu last week in the same way you describe:
Based on the number of threads I see popping up it seems to be common enough issue, so quite frustrating to see no improvement or support here. Databases rendered unusable as it stands now.
We are in the process of rolling out DBs, but have stopped after reading through all of your comments. Could you please post the progress/solution of your problems here for the community to be informed?

Thank you for your patience, the team has identified the issue and rolled out a fix for it. You should see your database performance improve now. Please let us know if you encounter further issues. Thank you all for reporting your issues with us!
