Database availability on the Jira Service Management Portal

Hello,

I don't think this issue has been raised yet, but I could be mistaken.

It would be great if databases were available in the Jira Service Management portal for portal customers.

Currently, if I enter a database on a page in the space linked to the JSM portal, only the link to the database is displayed and it is accessible only for Confluence users.

I think this is because JSM customers can be unlicensed type of users?

Hi Davide,

I've posted the same question some time ago. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Databases/Display-a-page-with-a-database-view-as-a-Service-Desk-knowledge/qaq-p/2587889

Will wait for the answer to it together.

Andrei

Yes, but like many other Confluence components (Asset list, Team Calendar), it should be rendered/displayed in the JSM portal (even though unlicensed users cannot and will not edit it). :D

According to the Database team:

Unfortunately service desk utilizes a different editor than the one you see in Confluence and other Atlassian surfaces meaning smartlinks don't render in the same way or have limited options. My advice would be to reach out to their team and explain this problem as there is nothing we can do about it from our end.
