Notifications and summary for @username mentions

Hi all,

I've seen many questions and post about the usage of @username mentions, but I could not find what I'm looking for.

  1. Is there a way to see the pages where I'm mentioned directly in Confluence?
  2. Can I regroup these notifications via a macro to create a summary on my personal page like I do for action items that are assigned to me?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Currently, there is no such direct way to get this data. However, I do have an alternative solution which is an ideal way to fetch all the pages where a user has been mentioned.

The steps would be as follows:

  •  Navigate to full search by using the below URL:
    https://yoursiteurl/wiki/dosearchsite.action?
  • Scroll down to the bottom left corner and select *Add a filter*
  • Choose the option of *mentioning user*
  • Write down your user name

In addition, we do have below feature request:

I would encourage you to visit the suggestion page linked above and click the Vote and Watch links near the top right to show support for the feature. By doing this, it will ensure you're proactively informed of progress and updates going forward. Also, we would appreciate your feedback on the feature, you can do this by leaving a comment on the ticket, this helps us prioritize & understand the use case of the feature request.

Please give it a try and let me know how it goes!!

This does not work, dosearchsite.action? redirects to wiki/search

@Suren Raj

The URL in your instructions no longer works.  As @Bert Vanpeteghem said it redirects to another search page.

Can you please provide updated instructions?

I'm heading to the feature request page next.  Thanks.

Hi @Suren Raj

The URL does not work. Please provide updated instructions?
