Link to heading in another page breaks in PDF export

Rohit Parmar February 3, 2020

I have a custom PDF export; where link to a heading in another page does not navigate to the corresponding heading within the PDF, but rather takes to the online Confluence link.

TopicA

Text [link to TopicB/HeadingC]

TopicB

HeadingC

In this case, when custom export the space with just TopicA and TopicB, the link from `Text` to `HeadingC` under TopicB doesn't navigate within the PDF but goes to the online page and corresponding heading.

Hello Rohit,

Thank you for reporting this to us. I have a few questions for you, if you have a moment.

  1. Could you tell me if you have any PDF customizations?
  2. Were you only able to replicate this with a certain export?
  3. Do all of the heading links do this, or only specific ones?
  4. Are there any special characters in the headings?
  5. Are these pages on the newer editor, the legacy editor, or a combination of both? You'll know when you're on the new editor because the Publish button will be on the top right-hand corner (as opposed to the bottom right-hand corner in the legacy editor.)

Thank you for your help!

Regards,

Shannon
